CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio March 31 2013– Authorities are holding a security officer while investigating the death of a 25-year-old woman who was shot in the head during a scuffle at an IHOP overnight.

According to Cleveland Heights Police, a group of four females were being disorderly inside the restaurant around 2: 50 a.m. when they were escorted outside by a security guard employed by the International House of Pancakes.

While being escorted out of the building, an altercation broke out at the front entrance of the restaurant and the security officer was knocked to the ground and his weapon discharged.
