EL CAJON, Calif. Feb 4 2013— Police arrested one man and were searching for another after they allegedly assaulted a Macy’s security guard who accused them of shoplifting,
The two men allegedly tried to shoplift about $700 worth of clothing at the Macy’s at Parkway Plaza Mall around 7 p.m. When two women security guards confronted the pair, one of the men punched one of the women and the suspects ran off.
Police found one of the suspects at a nearby trolley stop and arrested him. The other man got away.
Paramedics treated injured guard for minor injuries at the department store.
