Trinity Green, 18, of Park Forest, and Zana Jackson,19, of Richton Park were charged with one count each of armed robbery, according to a statement released by the Orland Park Police Monday.
The two women were approached by security guards as they left Macy's department store carrying merchandise without paying for it, police said. Police said Jackson is accused of pepper-spraying the guards in an attempt to flee.
Orland Park police soon arrived at the mall and arrested the two women, according to the statement.
Green's bond was set at $75,000 and Jackson's bond was set at $90,000. They're scheduled to appear in Bridgeview Courthouse Aug. 1.
