HOUSTON TX Jan 12 2013- A League City woman accused of having an improper relationship with a student was arrested Thursday.
Stephanie Raleen Forbes, 40, was taken into custody in the 300 block of Sorrelwood Dr. in League City. Forbes was charged with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between educator and student. Forbes was later released from the Galveston County Jail after posting $20,000 in bonds.
The Sheriff’s School Liaison deputies began investigating Forbes last month after receiving a tip.
Investigators said Forbes resigned her position as a teacher with Clear Creek Independent School District after officials there launched their administrative investigation into the accusations.
