Harrisburg PA June 24 2013 Police have arrested a Peach Bottom man wanted in connection with several bank robberies in Lancaster and York counties. Damon G. Lonsinger, 36, was arrested as he returned to the Harrisburg International Airport from Florida late Friday night.
Police say Lonsinger robbed the Fulton Bank in Mount Joy Township on May 29 and another bank in York County on June 11th.
Detectives say Lonsinger is suspected of having committed additional bank robberies in the York area.
He is charged with two counts of robbery.
Lonsinger was taken to Lancaster County Central Booking for arraignment.
Numerous agencies assisted in the arrest including; the FBI, the Northwest Lancaster County Regional Police, York Area Regional Police, Northern York County Regional Police and Springettsbury Township Police departments.
