TOWSON, Md. May 28 2013 AP— Baltimore County Police have charged a hotel employee with attempted murder after they say he stabbed a co-worker in the head.
Officers were called to the Sheraton Hotel in Towson about 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing. Police say two hotel employees got into a fight in an elevator at the facility and one stabbed the other with a pocket knife.
Police say 28-year-old Derrick Lamont Newman of Brooklyn was arrested after a brief foot chase. He is being held without bail.
