PEEKSKILL NY May 2 2013 - A Peekskill High School teacher is facing felony charges tonight after she allegedly altered her students' answer sheets on two separate Regents exams.
Allison Risoli, who was also chair of the school’s social studies department, turned in answer sheets to the district data analyst in January. When they called and said there was an issue, Risoli allegedly altered two answer sheets to give the students a passing score.
Risoli is charged with two felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing. She is due back in court on June 3.
If convicted, Risoli faces four years in prison.
