A Union City man was arrested Tuesday night after threatening to shoot security guards inside of Washington Hospital, police said.
According to the Fremont Police Department, Najibullah Noory, 39, went to visit a family member at the hospital at around 6:50 p.m.
After being told visiting hours had ended, Noory got upset. Security guards approached Noory, who then threatened to shoot them with a handgun, police said.
Officers responded to the first floor of the hospital where they had to search Noory at gunpoint. However, no weapons were found on Noory nor in his vehicle.
Noory was eventually arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats.
