Williams was employed as a teacher at Ehrenberg Elementary School for the last 12 years.
In a felony complaint filed on July 18 in an Indio courtroom, Williams is accused of knowingly and unlawfully sending and distributing masturbation videos of three different minors on April 21. He is also being accused of engaging in a sexual chat with a third Jane Doe on the same day. On the day of his arrest, Riverside County Sheriff SAFE (Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement) discovered eight separate videos of child pornography on personal home computer.
The Quartzsite Elementary School Governing Board, which also oversees Ehrenberg Elementary, terminated Williams on July 25 during an open meeting stating he "failed to immediately contact his supervisor to notify the district of his arrest."
None of the victims in the complaint are from the Blythe or Ehrenberg areas.
Williams was released on $55,000 bail and is scheduled to be back in court on Sept. 23 at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
