Columbia SC July 31 2013 Two security guards were beaten and stabbed at a bar early Sunday morning in Five Points, and police have released surveillance photos of the suspects wanted in the attacks.
Police said they are searching for four men, but only three suspects were shown in the pictures.
The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. at Group Therapy at 2107 Green St., according to Columbia police.
The two victims who work at the establishment told police they were stabbed by two men, police spokeswoman Ms. Jeniffer Timmons said.
“The victims say the suspects were asked to leave the business prior to the stabbing because of behavior they displayed inside,” Ms. Timmons said.
According to medical staff at a local hospital, the victims received non-life threatening injuries. But police have not released any details on how many times the men were stabbed or where.
The images are of the two suspects, one of whom allegedly punched the victims while the other stabbed them. They are also looking for the man who drove the getaway car.
