ORANGE VA July 27 2013 — A former Locust Grove Middle School teacher faces a total of 52 charges after an Orange County grand jury this week indicted him on 20 felony counts of possession of child pornography. Robert Jeffrey Kobman, 33, of Locust Grove, has been held without bond in Central Virginia Regional Jail since his arrest in May.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on these charges in August in Orange County Circuit Court.
In June, Kobman was charged with 31 counts of possession of child pornography. According to previous testimony, Kobman was arrested after authorities discovered the images in the recycle bin of his computer.
Kobman also faces a misdemeanor assault and battery charge against a student.
