Maj. Stephen Rubino with James City County Police said just after midnight on July 7 officers responded to Greensprings Plantation Drive for a report of a disorderly subject who had assaulted a security guard. Officers observed the subject, later identified as Jeremy Akers Glodek, 25, of Maryland, running from a security guard.
Rubino said Glodek was "highly intoxicated" and "had gotten into a disturbance with family members" prior to the arrival of security. He allegedly attacked the security guard who responded, then he punched the security vehicle.
Rubino added that Glodek also reportedly swung at a James City County police officer, striking his shoulder and the side of his head. Glodek also allegedly threatened to kill both officers.
