State College Pa. July 13 2013 Police say they have identified three suspects who ran a 'coordinated shoplifting ring', targeting stores in State College and in several other states.
Last year, the trio allegedly stole an iPad and four cellphones from Radio Shack and the Verizon Wireless store at the Nittany Mall. Police say one of them distracted store employees while the other two went behind the counter and stole the items.
The suspects include Naquan Williams, Davon Hurst and Julina Fogle, all from Edgewood, Md. Police say they identified the suspects after viewing them on surveillance video and matching Williams' fingerprints.
Investigators claim Williams, Hurst and Fogle also stole items from locations in Patton Township. Police say the three have stolen similar items from stores in at least four other states including New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Ohio.
Warrants have been issued for their arrest, according to State College Police Lt. Keith Robb.
