Las Vegas NV July 6 2013 An unarmed security officer died Friday after an altercation with a man who now faces a murder charge, Las Vegas police said.
Blake Valbracht, 29, was arrested after police responded to a reported fight in the 800 block of Bridger Avenue near Las Vegas Boulevard at 2 a.m.
Police said both men were involved in a physical altercation and the security guard fell to the ground and became unresponsive.
Valbracht was at the scene when police arrived and surrendered to officers, police said.
The security guard was taken to Valley Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim and the exact cause of death will be released pending an autopsy by the Clark County coroner’s office.
