GREENWOOD, SC Dec 21 2012 (AP) - A second man who broke into an apartment at Lander University and sexually assaulted three women inside has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
The Index-Journal of Greenwood reports that 20-year-old Bobby Henderson III, of Orlando, Fla., pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree burglary, three counts of kidnapping and three counts of criminal sexual conduct.
Prosecutors say Henderson and 19-year-old Cameren Jones tied the women up and taped their mouths during the March attack in Greenwood. Jones pleaded guilty last month to similar charges and was sentenced to 23 years in prison. Both men are former football players at Presbyterian College and will have to register as sex offenders when they are released from prison.
