Atlanta police said they have arrested a suspect in a carjacking that happened Saturday at the Lenox Mall.
Police said the victim had just parked her car when she was approached by the suspect, who had a gun.
Officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver refused. The driver then ran from the car, but was later caught and arrested.
Officers said they found the victim's belongings and a small amount of narcotics inside the vehicle along with a backpack and a handgun.
Police are waiting to release the suspect's identity. They are looking to see if he is connected to other crimes in the area.
The victim in the carjacking was not hurt.

A short time later, a vehicle matching the carjacking victim's was spotted by officers on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver refused. The driver then ran from the car, but was later caught and arrested.
