Wichita KS June 2 2013 A Bel Aire nurse has been convicted on multiple counts of Medicaid Fraud.
Caela M. White-Kinchion, 48, was convicted of 11 counts of health care fraud and 1 count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud by a jury in U.S. District Court in Wichita. She was acquitted on one count.
Per information in a news release issued by the Kansas Attorney General's Office, White-Kinchion was a co-conspirator in a scheme to bill the Kansas Medicaid Program for health care services that were never provided. Fraudulent billing amounts were in excess of $700,000.
Sentencing is set for August 26.
