KINGSTON, Jamaica June 2 2013- A security guard who stole a computer from a bank where he was employed was on Friday slapped with a nine-month prison sentence.
Twenty-eight-year-old Pete Green who is also a student of the University of Technology was sentenced by Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey after he pleaded guilty to simple larceny in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.

The court heard that between June 12 and 14, Green, who was employed to First Global Bank was captured on camera removing three packages from the building. His house was subsequently searched and a Dell computer was found.
According to court documents the company had been missing its computers since June.
