VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. May 30 2013 - A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a Virginia Beach club Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 a.m. at the After Midnight Club located at 728 South Military Hwy. Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said a suspect was removed from the club following an incident. Once outside, suspect and security became involved in an altercation.
Broman said the suspect got a handgun from his vehicle and fired rounds toward the front entrance of the club. Two people were transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, identified as Anthony Lamont Turner, 34, of Chesapeake, was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated wounding and discharging a firearm in a public place.
