HOUSTON TX May 22 2013 -- Eyewitness News has learned that Katy Fire Chief Marc Jordan was indicted on two felony counts today.
According to the indictment handed up by a Harris County Grand Jury, Jordan is accused of diverting vials of Valium from KFD ambulances and giving it to a relative.
The indictment also accused Jordan of altering a public document as questions were being asked by investigators. Court documents state Jordan falsified a memo dated January 11, 2013, regarding the accidental destruction of a box of Diazepam.
Jordan, 58, is charged with diversion of a controlled substance and tampering with a governmental record.
