HUNTSVILLE, Ala. May 10 2013– A man has been arrested for stealing several power tools from a Walmart and assaulting a loss-prevention officer.James Kenneth Winkles Jr., 40, was confronted by a loss-prevention officer working for Walmart who observed Winkles attempting to leave the store without paying for the merchandise, according to HPD.
According to police, when the loss-prevention officer confronted Winkles, he was physically assaulted. The loss-prevention officer suffered only minor injuries.
Police were able to locate Winkles on Oakwood Ave., arresting and charging him with Robbery 3rd, Resisting Arrest, and Prowling.
