Middletown police say officers had to use a stun gun to subdue a "combative" middle school student.
Police say they were called to Woodrow Wilson Middle School by staff members Wednesday morning.
Lt. Heather Desmond says when officers arrived they found the student to be uncooperative and unruly. The student was hit once with a stun gun during the arrest.
Police say the student was not hurt.
Investigators say they're unable to release more information about the incident because a juvenile was involved.
The school instructs seventh- and eighth-grade students in the Middletown School District.
