HAUGHTON, La. -March 26 2013 Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a Haughton teacher for allegedly having sexual conduct with a 17-year-old student over the past few weeks.

Davis says Banet was booked with prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student.
He says no other students are involved.
It was unclear whether Banet has an attorney.
