Former MS. bank teller sentenced in bank fraud case www.privateofficer.com

GULFPORT, Miss.March 22 2013 (AP) - A former teller at a Picayune bank has been ordered to repay more than $117,000 she helped steal from the bank's vault over a year's time.
U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden on Wednesday also sentenced 43-year-old Debra Mitchell, of Carriere, to six months in prison, six months of house arrest and two years of post-release supervision.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/Xqu1FH ) the money was taken from Union Planters Bank between April 2004 and February 2005 before Regions Bank bought out Union Planters.
Mitchell must report to prison within 60 days.
She pleaded guilty to bank fraud in December.
