SAVANNAH, GA March 10 2013
Special Agent in Charge Mark F. Giuliano, Atlanta Field Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for several Savannah area armored car robberies. Loomis Armored is also offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the same individuals.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 4, 2012, Loomis Armored truck guard was robbed at gunpoint by four black males while servicing an ATM machine at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1900 Victory Drive in Savannah.
At approximately 7 a.m. on Nov. 20, 2012, a Loomis Armored truck guard was robbed at gunpoint by three black males while servicing the Wells Fargo Bank located at 6999 Abercorn Street in Savannah.
Authorities say although the aggressive method of robbery was similar in both cases, there were notable difference in body characteristics and descriptions were observed in the last robbery.
