TRENTON NJ Dec 26 2012— A bouncer at a city liquor store stabbed a man in the back after a verbal argument early Sunday morning, police said.
According to Sgt. Pete Szpakowski, a department spokesman, a verbal dispute broke out between the victim and bouncer out front of a bar in the 400 block of Whittaker Ave. at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
At some point in the dispute, the bouncer cut the victim in the back, he said. The injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Szpakowski was not aware of any arrests or charges in the case.
Det. Edward Cunningham of the department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating.
