Investigators with the Kinston Department of Public Safety have charged 32-year-old Amanda Ann Grady with obtaining property by false pretense.
Grady's accused of taking $1,450 in funds intended for a field trip. The alleged incident was reported to police by Lenoir County Schools January 30.
Bond was set at $10,000.
